I read several of your posts. You are my hero! I want to be a designer so bad! But 5 kids got in the way of formal training. So when budget allows (which is rare) I do one room in our house at a time. So far, we have done the kitchen, my 3 year olds room and my master bath. The master bath is a disaster. Working on a re-do I wanted turquoise and brown. But the turquoise looks awful with the marble countertop and bathtub. Your post inspires me because purple is my favorite color (actually, aubergine) and I want a room that color so bad but too afraid to try. I love a lot of rich colors in the room. I have subscribed to your posts and will be reading often! Keep the tips coming. I need all the help I can get. When you are famous and have your own show, I volunteer my house! LOL. I’ll even help you do all the work and I’ll donate a scentsy warmer to every room you do on the show!. BTW, why not try out for Design Star on HGTV? I bet you would win and get your own show! Seriously, you really should! They do it every season.

As an artist who loves color- purple is my fav. In fact I don’t use black as my darkest tone. I use dull purple.
